At 1:31am (EST) on Thursday morning Uranus at 28:32 Aries Stations Retrograde.

He has been slowing down some of the last few weeks preparing for this change in direction… metaphorical and not physical. Retrogrades only ‘appear’ from the Earth’s perspective due to the orbits around the Sun.

This is my least favorite Rx Planet. Why? Because Uranus gives us new insight and revelations. He shakes us out of ruts and helps us to find inventive new ways of dealing with issues. When he is Rx, we are looking at old ground he has taken us through and it can feel a bit like the old stuff is coming up again. But it will help us to better own our awareness when he moves Direct again.

But Uranus’ Station is occurring just ahead of Jupiter exacting his Square to Pluto, which occurs at 2:48pm on Friday. There are no other aspects occurring over the same few days. While not aspecting either Jupiter or Pluto, Uranus has an impact here. As our individual (Aries) awareness (Uranus) retrogrades, we will have less new awareness to assist us as we complete the ‘career/social status’ and ‘relating-ships’ goals of Jupiter Square Pluto. Perhaps our individual freedom/awareness moving reverse will assist us in better relating to those in authority who can assist our career goals?

Uranus and Pluto are out of orb of their ‘Drastic Change’ Squares of 2012-2016. Though they are now very near a BiSeptile aspect, they will not exact it. So it remains to be seen if we will realize the joyful energies of a BiSeptile. Jupiter is more than 10 degrees from his final Opposition to Uranus and out of aspect for a month or more.

So these 2 events seem unrelated on the surface, however, NOTHING is unrelated;) So we will need to discover how the one affects the other. It may be that we will go along with the relating-ship need in order to gain our social status. But at the 3rd Opposition of Jupiter to Uranus, on Sep 27th at 27:22 of Libra/Aries respectively, we will find that we will choose our personal path anyway.

Uranus will be Retrograde until Jan 3, 2018 when he will Station Direct at 24:34 Aries. He is retracing the degrees between 28:32 and 24:34 until that time. His first pass of these degrees occurred from Apr 16 to Aug 3. You may feel like you are back in those same situations but with changed or revised awareness.
