With both Saturn and Pluto now Direct, the energy of this Conjunction is in strong applying mode. They will exact their Conjunction at 3:00pm (EST) on Jan 12, 2020 at 22:47 Capricorn. The House where you have 22+ Capricorn is going to be the hardest hit part/area of your life over the next while year or so.

I have been thinking a lot about this aspect and am very mindful of how it is applying to everyone’s chart right now, but it hasn’t been the easiest thing to sit down and write. Sure, I could write for the stunning event that it is to get more ‘hits’ on my site, but that’s never my motivation. See, Pluto and Saturn are Transiting my 3rd House of communication and the conscious mind by Sun Sign (as I am a Scorpio Sun). So… this very energy will be obvious to my regular readers as it operates into what gets said here… and what DOESN’T as well. 7 Capricorn (Saturn) is the cusp of my 8th House (Pluto) and 27 Capricorn is the cusp of my 9th House by Rising Sign. So I KNOW this energy of Saturn and Pluto merged;) But it will be especially powerful at their Conjunction!

Merging Saturn and Pluto we get things like: structures being destroyed, Karmic manipulation of shared resources and intimacy, cock-blocking, financial blocking and power plays, colon cancer, broken back, restricted finances, such as loans, child support, inheritance, over-bearing boss, abusive authority, forced transformation, etc.

But it can also be accountable to shared resources, response-able to intimate partners rather than resisting the intimacy, transforming the status quo, standing up to corruption, and allowing the powers-that-be to do the right thing because we won’t back down while we allow the transformation to occur, or rebuilding integrity into our public structures and places of authority.

Saturn rules Karmic fear that can present itself as stress, skeletal decline of all kinds including teeth, hair and skin and the big ‘C’ word, Cancer. Those are some of Saturn’s 3D energies. But in 5D, Saturn rules deep, intimate bonding, aka no resistance to merging because resisting merging IS Karmic.

Pluto rules death, transformation, sex/intimacy, debts, loans, inheritance, child support, taxes, etc. In 3D, he is death, but in 5D he is transformation. integrity and transparency. Pluto KNOWS how share resources and his physical self effectively and honestly by applying the highest integrity.

Saturn rules Capricorn so is truest to his natural energies here. He is beginning another 29-year cycle for us in our career structures, public authority, social status and as the ‘bread-winners’ most often associated with the father.

Pluto Ingressed Capricorn in Jan 2008, then Retrograded back to Sagittarius before Ingressing Capricorn to stay until 2024 on again on Nov 2, 2008. Pluto in Capricorn has been showing us the ‘repressed or shadow’ side of our political, governmental, corporate and banking authorities and structures.

Now as Saturn Conjuncts Pluto, their energies will merge creating a new cycle between them. To understand how their cycle works, lets look at the cycle that will be ending:

• Nov 5, 1982 – Saturn Conjunct Pluto at 27:36 Libra
• Mar 20, 1993 – Saturn Square Pluto at 25:24 Aquarius/Scorpio
• Aug 5, 2001 – Saturn Opposite Pluto at 12:38 Gemini/Sagittarius
• Nov 15, 2009 – Saturn Square Pluto at 1:41 Libra/Capricorn
• Jan 12, 2020 – Saturn Conjunct Pluto at 22:34 Capricorn

Look closely at the dates and reflect back on your own chart to see how this cycle hit YOU. You may notice the Opposition was the precursor of 9/11 across the axis of local/global, duality/inclusion, karma/optimism.
